Crafting Proposals

Grants, Fellowships & Residencies

by Jennifer Reis

Jennifer Reis understands that building a proposal for a grant, fellowship and/or residency seems daunting at first, but if you break it down into components, keep a focus on the mission of the organization AND the opportunity, as well as stay mindful of deadlines, it is totally doable. This session will guide you through the necessary elements of strong proposals, including clear, concise writing and excellent images to tell the story of your to-be-funded project. The instructor has been awarded multiple national and state grants and fellowships as an artist, and also has applied for and received grant funding as an arts administrator directing visual arts spaces.
